1. An ornament, gem, or scroll, or a package containing a relic,
etc., worn as a charm or preservative against evils or mischief,
and often inscribed with a magic incantation or symbol. Syn. -Charm,
protection. See talisman.
All amulets produced by MATC have been consciously designed by Idaho riverguide JC Caccia to attract good energy.
To enhance any amulets protective qualities, the wearer must participate by being attentive, prepared,
considerate of others and respectful to Mother Nature...

original sun and mountain-water design inspired by symbols often
illustrated on birch bark canoes.
The paddler image is a Hawaiian petroglyph symbolizing the exuberance
shared by watersport enthusiasts around the world.

petroglyph

from a cliff face along Hegman Lake in the Boundry Water region
of Minnesota.

"Payette
/ Qwyhee River Boater's Amulet"
Sterling amulet depicting
on one side, a geothermal-breathing Water Dragon representing
the many hot springs and
intense whitewater found along the various drainages of Idaho's
Payette River system. The Turtle image is similiar to turtle petroglyphs
found in Hawaii. Two "Owyhiians" were among the first
party of fur trappers to explore Southwestern Idaho and the
surrounding mountain range and river drainage were named in their
honor.
