Welcome to HavenUp.com

Thank you for your interest in the purchase and development of Haven Hot Springs!
My name is John Caccia. I live in Kethum, Idaho where I work as a jewelry maker,
art gallery owner and part-time river guide. I am also a long-time hot spring
aficionado, gardener, guitar picker and parent.

(
I am a 1972 and '75 Idaho State University graduate)

For the past 3 years I have been gathering information and touring hot springs properties in Central Idaho
with the intention to purchase and develop a recreation oriented Nature Resort and education/growing center.
This past year I have focused primarily on Haven Hot Springs, which is located 5 miles east of Lowman
and 45 miles west of Stanley on Idahos scenic Highway 21

Haven's existing "turn key" businesses include a 4 unit motel, a fully furnished cafe / beer bar,
nine full hook-up RV sites, a Sinclair gas station (recently inspected and EPA approved), two rental
trailers, a small cold water spring, two cold water wells AND a high quality, 145 degree geothermal spring
that flows out of a hillside spring located on the upper northeastern corner of this 14 acre property.
The spring out-flow is moderate and the recently adjudicated state water right allows for
approximately 20 gallons per minute.
This part of Idaho is famous for it's elk herds,
scenic highways, geothermal activity, wilderness, fishing and white water.

Because of the above listed assets and Haven's rugged and remote, yet easily accessible location
I consider Haven Hot Springs to be the best, by far, dollar value, location and water quality of
all other hot spring properties currently on the market in Central Idaho and beyond...

Current owners, Fred and Marla Lawson have built Haven after the original Haven was destroyed
in the Lowman area fire of 1990. They have operated Haven for the past 15 years and are now ready
to sell-out and retire to their other interests. They have it listed for $1.3 million.

This website was made in order to share information and attract investors) willing to participate
in the purchase of Haven Hot Springs and the permaculture design based development of:
"Camp Haven"
a permaculture based Nature Resort,
outdoor recreation, education and growing center.

What is Permaculture?
Humans working with nature, utilizing local, sustainable resources, biological and/or low-tech design principles.
Permaculture design begins first with observation and then taking action that is in harmonious alignment with nature.
This requires basic understanding and caring consideration of ecological communities and the connectedness of all Creation.
("The universe favors those who are in harmony with it." Buckminister Fuller)
.

A "Nature Resort" is where people can come to, camp, work, play, learn and connect on a variety of levels with the five elements.
Licensed outfitters on site would facilitate guided activities and adventures in boating, climbing, and cycling as well as
offer programs & classes in everything from wilderness survival, nature studies and emergency preparedness.
We would also have a greenhouse, food gardens, fruit trees, etc... to feed our ourselves and our guests.

My mission is to help purchase and develop an eco-based, hot springs Nature Resort
and growing center that will attract meaningful business flows and whatever else is needed...

The right person(s) is needed to step forward and commit $1,000,000 to this venture...

If you are (or might be) that person, please call me at (208) 726-8709
or e-mail: jc@campfirecircle.com

(A finder's fee, to anyone able to bring such an investor forward...)

Haven is visible left of center, I hope to see you here!
The So Fork of the Payette is one of Idaho's most scenic rivers, readily accessible and human friendly!
It offers a full range of boating opportunities from easy, fun and beginner level sections
to some of the most exciting and challenging whitewater in No America.
