Welcome to HavenUp.com

Thank you for your interest in the purchase and development of Haven Hot Springs!
My name is John Caccia. I live in Kethum, Idaho where I work as a jewelry maker,
art gallery owner and part-time river guide. I am also a long-time hot spring
aficionado, gardener, guitar picker and a certified permaculture designer.

I am a 1975 Idaho State University graduate with a Master's Degree in Athletic Administration.

\
For the past 3 years I have been gathering information and touring hot springs properties in Central Idaho
with the intention to purchase and develop a nature oriented hot springs eco-resort and education center.
This past year I have focused primarily on Haven Hot Springs, which is located 5 miles east of Lowman
and 45 miles west of Stanley on Idaho's scenic Highway 21

Haven's existing "turn key" businesses include a 4 unit motel, a fully furnished cafe with bar,
nine full hook-up RV sites, a Sinclair gas station (recently inspected and EPA approved), two rental
trailers, a small cold water spring, two cold water wells AND a high quality, 145 degree geothermal spring
that flows out of a hillside spring located on the upper northeastern corner of this 14 acre property.
The spring out-flow is moderate and the recently adjudicated state water right allows for
approximately 20 gallons per minute.
This part of Idaho is famous for it's elk herds,
scenic highways, geothermal activity, wilderness and whitewater!

Because of the above listed assets and Haven's rugged and remote, yet easily accessible location
I consider Haven Hot Springs to be the best, by far, dollar value, location and water quality of
all other hot spring properties currently on the market in Central Idaho and beyond...

Current owners, Fred and Marla Lawson have built Haven after the original Haven was destroyed
in the Lowman area fire of 1990. They have operated Haven for the past 15 years and are now ready
to sell-out and retire to their other interests. They have it listed for $1.3 million.

This website was made in order to share information and attract investor(s) willing to participate
in the purchase of Haven Hot Springs and the permaculture design based development of:
"Camp Haven"
a permaculture based hot springs eco-resort,
outdoor recreation, education and growing center.

What is Permaculture?
Humans working with nature, utilizing local, sustainable resources, biological and/or low-tech design principles.
Permaculture design begins through observation and then taking action that is in harmonious alignment with nature
and requires basic understanding and caring consideration of ecological communities and the connectedness of all Creation.
("The universe favors those who are in harmony with it." Buckminister Fuller)
.

My vision is for Haven to become a magical, hot springs eco-resort and outdoor center.
Being an "eco-resort" means we will have a greenhouse, food gardens, friut trees, etc... to feed our ourselvess and our guests.
The "outdoor center" would facilitate guided activities and adventures in boating, climbing, and cycling as well as offer
programs & classes in everything from wilderness survival, nature studies and emergency preparedness.
The "magical" aspect will be what happens when humans work in alignment with Nature...

My mission, by the grace of God, is to help purchase, create and
provide wise, beautiful stewardship to Haven Hot Springs.

The right person(s) is needed to step forward and commit $1,000,000 to this venture...
Become the "founding partner" and own 50% of a hot springs property, eco-resort operation, greenhouse nursery,
cafe, and food growing business,,, located along the So Fork of the Payette River in Central Idaho.
If you are (or might be) that person, please call me at (208) 726-8709
or e-mail: jc@campfirecircle.com

(A finder's fee, valued at $25,000, is offered to anyone able to bring the "founding partner" forward.)

Haven is visible left of center, I hope to see you here!
The So Fork of the Payette is one of Idaho's most scenic rivers, readily accessible and human friendly!
It offers a full range of boating opportunities from easy, fun and beginner level sections
to some of the most exciting and challenging whitewater in No America.
