Town Tour:
Enhance your appreciation of the Ketchum/Sun Valley area by enjoying an informative, historical and contemporary sightseeing "Town Tour." This 1.5 hour tour covers everything you have heard, read or imagined about Sun Valley and its place in America's history. Highlights include the "Sun Valley Story," the Hemingway legacy, award winning architecture and entertaining folklore.

The tour begins at your doorstep and will provide your travel/convention group with convivial narration as it drives along scenic and local points of interest. The "Town Tour" is an excellent orientation to this unique part of Idaho and guarantees to further the enjoyment of your Sun Valley vacation.

Cost of Step-On Guide $75

Motorcoaches can be arranged if necessary for additional cost.

Galena Summit Tour:
This 2-3 hour tour consists of a scenic drive north along Highway 75 to the Galena Summit Overlook (elevation 8,700 feet) for a majestic view of the Sawtooth Mountain Range and the headwaters of the Salmon River. Bring your camera and jacket as you will want to step outside to enjoy the panorama. The 35 mile drive from Sun Valley to Galena Summit takes you into the Sawtooth National Forest, considered one of our nation's most well preserved alpine environs.

Your well informed narrator/guide will provide plant and wildlife information, early exploration and local history, colorful narrations of Idaho mountainfolk and current news of interest. An optional 30-60 minute stop is available at Galena Lodge (except when the Lodge is closed during off season) for a scrumptious lunch or coffee break with home-baked pastries.

NOTE: Occasionally this tour is not available in winter months due to heavy snow and road conditions.

Native Idahoan John Caccia has 22 years experience in the tour business. Having worked as a
river guide, tour company owner and "back-country" entertainer, "JC" brings a wealth of acquired
knowledge and abilities into the motorcoach each tour. A Ketchum local since 1978, John is married
and with his wife Cathie have two children Cody and Wyatt. In addition to guiding,
he employs himself as a jewelry designer/bolosmith and wedding official.
