This sterling silver Little Boater's Amulet (aka the Hegman Lake Boater's Amulet) measures

 1" H x  3/8" W and comes with a 30" black linen cord.

This sterling silver kayak paddle blade amulet was designed and created by Idaho silversmith/river guide JC Caccia. The designs on both sides depict images of 400 year old Ojibwqay pictographs found along the shores of Hegman Lake in Northern Minnesota.

The moose is powerful medicine, associated with land and water. The canoe/boat with the four passengers is an unusual and intriguing pictograph. The canoe bow has a mouth, implying that it is a breathing, living thing! May the wearer of this amulet help you to connect with the moose totem and remind you to be kind and gentle to all living things.

This amulet was made to create and attract good energy. In order to harness any amulet’s potential, the wearer must invest a positive attitude  and participate in a conscious manner. Living in a respectful, courteous and responsible manner is a prerequisite. Maintaining the mechanical and physical aspects of boating, paying attention and being prepared also work hand in hand to enhance any amulet’s protective qualities.
